Malaysia Weather

Malaysia is one of the biggest tourist destinations in South Asia. The country is very green and a home of ancient rain forests. It has a great variety of flora and fauna, even some which are now endangered such as sun bears and orang utans. Visiting its sandy beaches is an experience that is much better than you would get in many places. Malaysia weather varies depending on where you are but it is mostly tropical climate.

Some of the mountainous regions inland will see much cooler weather and some of the mountains are actually very tall. Mount Kinabalu is the tallest in the country at 4,095.2 meters. As you would expect anywhere with this altitude, the temperatures can be very cold. The central and northern regions of the country are where you will see most of the mountain ranges and therefore the cooler temperatures.
